The house
The Sefiya Group brings fashion, art and culture under one roof in Lagos, with each house run as its own studio.

GlamGirl by Sefiya dresses women for the occasions that matter most in Nigerian life: weddings, owambes and milestones, in couture, bridal and ready-to-wear.
Around it, the group is building houses for art and culture, so that the craft, clients and collaborators gathered through fashion can extend into exhibitions and programmes.
Clients come from Lagos and from the diaspora. The studio in Victoria Island is open by appointment, and the rest of the process runs on video and WhatsApp.
What the houses share
The standard every house holds itself to.
Made by hand in Lagos
Cutting, beading and finishing happen in the studio, not outsourced. Hand beadwork is part of how a piece is built, so it is planned from the first fitting.
Measured for the person
Couture starts with measurements and a toile. Clients outside Lagos are measured from their phones and fitted on video, so distance does not change the standard.
The story comes first
Editorial work like the Eden look begins with a narrative and chooses the craft to carry it: fabric, embellishment and silhouette each have a job.
Honest about time and money
Lead times, deposits and quote validity are written down before anyone pays. A rushed date is declined rather than promised.
